Trustee Cook became a resident of Orchard City eight years ago. He attended high school and Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He now lives in the community of Austin with his wife, CJ Dotts.

Mr. Cook currently owns and operates three Orchard City businesses all located in of Eckert: The Shop Automotive & Tire, Route 65 Burgers & Fries, and L & M Pick N Pull. Mel enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family.

Trustee Cook serves the Town on the Road Committee and the Planning Commission.
