Utility Billing Clerk/Administrative Assistant:
The Utility Billing Clerk/Administrative Assistant is hired and supervised by the Town Administrator/Clerk; this is a non-exempt position under FLSA with a pay range of $12.00 to $17.00 per hour DOE with a competitive benefits package. This position is generally scheduled 8am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. This position may require attendance at a minimum of one evening meeting per month.
The Utility Billing Clerk/Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of clerical, technical bookkeeping and accounting functions. A customer oriented person with high work standards; who is detailed orientated and a team player to serve as front desk receptionist. Processes monthly Utility Billing, processes Accounts Payable/Receivables, updates Town Website, assist Planning Commission Staff and serves as backup for payroll.
