Kacey is the daughter of Raye and Troy Walck and the sister of Ty Walck.
Kacey has a 4.13 Grade Point Average and is a member of the National Honor Society, having completed Advanced Placement courses every year, at CHS since the 10th grade.
Besides her commitment to academics, Kacey has been active in athletics her entire life. She competed with Tunget Gymnastics until high school, then became a varsity letter earner in multiple sports. She pitched and played outfield in softball. In track, she is a sprinter, throws shot put and discus, and is a state qualifying high jumper. Her main sport is wrestling, however, where she competes for the Delta County girls’ team with North Fork High School. She is a two-time state wrestling qualifier and placed 5th in the state in the 2022-2023 season.
When she is not doing schoolwork or competing, she can be found in the gym lifting weights, coaching or refereeing peewee wrestlers, creating delicious coffee drinks, baking treats for friends, catching toads, snakes and lizards, or making people laugh with her unique sense of humor.
Kacey plans to attend college in the Fall of 2024, studying either Criminal Psychology, or Marine Biology. She has been accepted to multiple universities, and is being recruited to wrestle, but has not yet decided where she will land.
